A Senior Petroleum Analyst says it could be a few days before we know whether or not this explosion will have any effect on fuel prices.
Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says as of Monday afternoon, there didn’t appear to be any impact.
He says looking at the markets, there wasn’t much movement, despite the explosion.
McTeague says that could change later this week, once Irving Oil gets a better look at the extent of the damage.
He adds though, he doesn’t expect there to be will be impact or shortage of fuel in the province.
