Wildlife Also Impacted By Flooding

Flooding is not only affecting New Brunswick residents, it is also affecting wildlife that live in areas where the water is rising.

Director of the New Brunswick Emergency Measures Organization Greg MacCallum says they are aware of the situation, “There is not much that can be done, but to monitor them for their health. As this situation evolves, if possible doing whatever we can to assist them in a humane way.”

He says there have been instances where moose have been sighted, and they are keeping their eyes on those situations to see if anything can be done to assist them.”
