Wildcats players make final NHL Central Scouting list

Four Moncton Wildcats players are ones to keep an eye on ahead of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.

NHL Central Scouting has released its final list of the top prospects to watch leading up to the draft.

With four players mentioned, the Wildcats are among the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League franchises with the most prospects listed.

Gabe Smith is a potential third-round selection, ranked 94th overall, Julius Sumpf is ranked 200th on the list while Miles Mueller is 210th.

Meanwhile, Keegan Warren is ranked 12th on the list of North American goalies.

They are among 35 players from the QMJHL who made the final list, according to league officials.

The NHL Entry Draft takes place in Vegas on June 28 and 29.
