Wildcats open QMJHL pre-season Tuesday

It is the time of year local hockey fans have been waiting months for.

Quebec Major Junior Hockey League pre-season action begins Tuesday.

The Moncton Wildcats are gearing up to host the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.

Puck drop at the Avenir Centre in Moncton is at 7 p.m.

Moncton will play a total of six pre-season games over the next four weeks.

That includes four games against Acadie-Bathurst and two against the Cape Breton Eagles.

Regular season action for the Wildcats begins Friday, Sept. 22, against the Eagles in Cape Breton.

Moncton’s first home game of the regular season is set for Saturday, Sept. 30, against Halifax.
