Who will receive the Order of Moncton for 2026?

Nominations are needed for Moncton’s most prestigious honour.

Established in 2010, the Order of Moncton is an annual award that recognizes citizens for their outstanding achievements and significant contributions to Moncton’s social, cultural, or economic fabric. to the social, cultural, or economic fabric.

Nominees must be past or present, long-term residents of Moncton who have brought honour to Moncton on a national or international scale. 

Elected representatives currently serving on Moncton City Council or in the Provincial Legislature, the House of Commons, or the Senate, and judges of any court are not eligible.

Letters of support must be submitted by Friday, Sept. 11.

A selection committee made up of council members, citizens, and a staff advisory group will review the nominations and choose the recipients for 2026.
