The winter season in New Brunswick has been quite a rollercoaster ride with dramatic temperature swings and numerous rounds of mixed precipitation.
The Weather Network has released its spring forecast.
Meteorologist Nadine Powell says March in particular could be quite stormy.
“Not only will we be getting a fair amount of snow but there’s a good likelihood, there will be mixing of rain and mixing of ice as well,” she notes.
Powell says several storms, drawing warm moisture from the Gulf of Mexico, are expected.
She adds temperatures are expected to be near normal this spring with the usual battle between cold and warm during what is a transitional season.
