Wet Christmas On The Way for New Brunswick

I hope Rudolph, Santa and the reindeer have their raincoats ready for travel in Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick.

Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for our region, with the potential for up to 50 millimetres of rain for this part of the province.

It has been a rough month for flooding already in our region, after torrential rains brought over 150 millimetres over two days in mid December.

Meteorologist Jason Sheppard says we could see temperatures records and rainfall records broken for Christmas Day as well, in all of this wacky weather.

The record high for Moncton on December 25th is 13.3 degrees, set in 1996, but Environment Canada is currently calling for a high of 14 degrees for tomorrow.
