Welcome to Horizon, Dr. Thomas Southall!
Dr. Southall has joined the team at Horizon’s The Moncton Hospital as a general urologist. With 15 years of medical training and experience, he brings a modern, evidence-based approach to patient care, treating a wide range of conditions affecting the male reproductive system and the urinary tract in both men and women.
Having grown up in Nova Scotia, Dr. Southall found the opportunity to return to Atlantic Canada particularly meaningful after completing his education and medical training across Newfoundland and Manitoba. He was drawn to Horizon after staying connected with members of the team he met during his training.
“I was drawn to the experience and expertise of the physicians I would be working alongside,” he shares, “as well as the resources available to provide high-quality care to patients.”
Dr. Southall chose a career in medicine to make a tangible difference in the lives of others. Urology specifically drew his focus because it sits at the forefront of innovative, minimally invasive techniques and allows him to improve quality of life for his patients while building meaningful relationships.
