Welcome To Fall!

Autumn officially arrived in New Brunswick at about 5:22 this morning.

But Environment Canada says the first day of the season will feel more like summer.

Meteorologist Linda Libby says above normal temperatures will kick off fall.

“We’re looking at a ridge of high pressure, pretty much dominating the weather, and we’ll see temperatures breaking the 20 degree mark,” she notes.

The autumnal equinox is when the length of day is about equal to the length of night.

From here we will continue to lose daylight until the first day of winter in December.
