A family of six Monctonians were displaced from their home Saturday, after it sustained extensive damage during a fire.
Emergency services responded to a fire at a split-level house on Carmel St. at around 11 a.m. on Saturday.
The couple and their four children, aged nine to 16, were not home at the time of the incident.
No injuries were sustained as a result of the fire.
A release from the Canadian Red Cross said the group is supporting the family, and help from volunteers has helped supply them with food, clothes, and other essentials.
