Many New Brunswickers will join together tomorrow in the fight against bullying.
It’s Pink Shirt Day across the country.
Education and Early Childhood Development Minister Serge Rouselle tells us how it all got started, “I began in 2007 in Nova Scotia. Two high school students encouraged their friends to wear a pink shirts to support a classmate who had been bullied. Since then, schools, businesses and government have recognized the last Wednesday in February as Pink Shirt Day.”
He says, “Bullying can happen anywhere, so it’s important to think about it, be conscious about and do something about it.”
