River Watch is warning with the rain today and continuing snow melt, water levels and flows are expected to rise over the next 48 hours and approach but not reach flood stage.
The state of local emergency remains in effect for areas at risk of flooding within Perth-Andover but the mandatory evacuation order has been lifted and people have returned to their homes.
The St. John River at Quispamsis and Saint John along with Fredericton reached the flood watch level yesterday and is expected to be at the flood warning stage tomorrow.
