Residents of Shediac are being informed that watering is permitted from 5am to 8am only.
The restriction is due the current warm and dry conditions and will remain in place until further notice.
The town says it will help maintain the drinking water supply and avoid challenges in the delivery of water for essential use such as putting out a fire.
A reminder that the town’s water tower currently has limited storage capacity due to ongoing restoration work on the tank.
