If you get a called from a company called MagellantradingFX or Magellan Trading Group, you might want to hang up the phone. The provincial securities commission warns they have been cold calling New Brunswickers and soliciting high risk investments that aren’t for the average investor.
Once you have sent money overseas, it becomes very difficult to get your money back.
New Brunswickers who have been approached by these companies are encouraged to contact the Financial and Consumer Services Commission immediately.
