Some people call user fees stealth taxes or taxes by another name. Kings Centre M-L-A Bill Oliver says they’re rising by 30 to 65 per cent to feed a cash starved provincial government from the pockets of New Brunswickers.
Oliver estimates the increases will take away 2 million dollars from people in the province and he predicts you’re going to see a 2 per cent increase in the HST.
Oliver says it’s going to you you more to be born, to get married and to die in New Brunswick. Oliver, who worked in the insurance industry for years, calls it cradle to grave coverage.
