Wanted man could be in Sussex-Hampton region: RCMP

Mounties are asking for help to find a 36-year-old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

Jonathan Brown was charged with sexual assault, assault, and sexual interference on a youth in 2019.

Brown was scheduled to stand trial that November, but police issued a warrant after he failed to attend court.

Police say they have since received information which suggests he could be in the Sussex or Hampton region of New Brunswick, or the Kitchener-Waterloo region in Ontario.

At the time of his arrest, Brown was described as being approximately 5’7″ tall, weighing about 159 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.

If you know where Brown might be, police said you should not approach him, but instead contact RCMP at 506-857-2400.

You can also contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-900-222-8477.
