Horizon Health Network has temporarily suspended visits to the geriatric unit at The Moncton Hospital due to a COVD-19 outbreak.
New patients will not be admitted or transferred, and current patients are restricted to their rooms, according to a news release issued on Monday afternoon.
Horizon staff at this facility will follow the infection prevention and control guidelines.
The Designated Support Person (DSP) program will also be temporarily suspended for Unit 5200 at this time.
Visitation guidelines remain in place for other units at The Moncton Hospital.
