Hundreds attended a vigil in Rothesay last night for a young girl and her mother who died in a murder suicide.
It was organized by the group Bridge of Hope-Saint John.
Those who attended laid flowers and teddy bears, said prayers and paid their respects.
Police says 43-year-old Louise Cassie-Laflamme and her seven-year-old daughter were found dead in an apartment on Sierra Avenue last month.
Officers determined the child was the victim of a homicide and the woman died from a self-inflicted injury.
