The Marissa Shephard trial resumed yesterday after weeks under a voir dire, without a jury present.
A video of Devin Morningstar in an interview with RCMP was played for the jury.
Morningstar had previously been called to the stand in the trial twice, but refused to testify.
During the interview, Morningstar gave details of the night Baylee Wylie died.
Wylie was stabbed over 100 times. Morningstar told police 25 of those wounds were from Shephard.
