Six schools in Fredericton are being secured as a precaution as police search for what they’re calling a person of interest.
Fredericton police are seeking the public’s help tracking down this person who appeared to be carrying a hard-shelled firearm case.
The person was crossing the walking trail on St. Mary’s Street heading towards Cliff Street.
He is described as 5’10” wearing jeans and a dark jacket or hoodie with shoulder length brown hair.
You’re asked not to go to Leo Hayes, Gibson Neill, Ecole Les Eclaireurs, Devon Middle, Devon Park Christian School, and Harold Sappier as police are trying to keep people out of the area while the investigation is being conducted.
