Jury selection is underway at Harbour Station in what is widely believed to be Dennis Oland’s retrial.
Oland was previously convicted in the death of his father Richard Oland who was killed more than 7 years ago at his uptown office.

People began arriving at the box office entrance before 8 a.m. and by mid-morning the lineup extended well into the pedway.

We asked Regional Sheriff George Oram if contingencies are in place in case anyone gets sick or has a medical issue.
“Today is really no different than any other day when it comes to that sort of stuff. We are meeting peoples needs and trying to satisfy them the best we can
while keeping into consideration everyone’s health and wellness concerns.” Oram says.
What is normally the ice surface has been converted into a courtroom and the rest of the space is set up with tables and chairs for prospective jurors and the public to get a bite to eat.
On the ice surface of Harbour Station, one section is set up as a courtroom while another larger section, is full of long tables and chairs where people will people will have meals. Staff are setting up some food now.
