The search for a missing 54-year-old man from the Martinon area of Saint John has come to a tragic end.
Saint John police say a body located in the Saint John River in Grand Bay-Westfield on Saturday morning is that of Peter Hoellwarth.
He was reported missing on July 9 after leaving his home for a walk on the previous evening and searchers and family spent several days looking for him.
Police say foul play is not suspected at this time and they are thanking everyone for their efforts during this very difficult time.
