UPDATE: Wanted Shediac man arrested, say RCMP

A 36-year-old Shediac man who was wanted by police has been taken into custody.

Mounties asked for the public’s help on Wednesday to locate the individual.

He was wanted in connection with an armed robbery, stolen vehicle and gas, and breach of conditions.

RCMP said he could have a firearm and should be considered armed and dangerous.

In an update late Wednesday afternoon, Mounties said the accused had been located and arrested.
