U deM Forestry Programs Gets Financial Boost

A major donation has been made that will benefit students enrolled in the School of Forestry at the Edmundston campus of the Universite de Moncton.

Acadian Timber Corporation has made a $500, 000 donation to the Evolution Fundraising Campaign.

It will help to establish an Acadian Timber Scholarship and bursary fund. These will be awarded to students enrolled full time in an undergraduate program at the school.

It was also allow for the purchase of specialized equipment.
