Tyler Noel Pleads Not Guilty To Escaping Lawful Custody

Tyler Noel of Moncton has pleaded not guilty to escaping lawful custody.

Noel pleaded guilty to second-degree murder earlier this month for the death of Moncton teen Baylie Wylie.

He was sentenced to life in prison but will be eligible for parole after 16 years.

Noel was charged with escaping lawful custody after Saint John police reported an inmate escaped the Saint John Regional Correctional Centre in February.

He will appear in Saint John Provincial Court on October 20th.
