Two Warming Centres Open In Fredericton

Public Safety Minister Stephen Horsman says the Emergency Measures Organization is monitoring the situation around the province following a major nor’easter dumping significant snow on the province leaving many without power.

Two warming centres are open in Fredericton and will operate around the clock.

They are located at Willie O’Ree Place on Cliffe Street and at the Grant Harvey Centre on Knowledge Park Drive.

You can charge your phone or tablet and get warm. Bulk water is available at the city’s four fire stations.

For more information, call the local Emergency Operation Centre at 506-460-2996.
