A man and a woman have been killed and three others have been injured following a head-on collision on Highway 11 in Bathurst.
It happened around 7:30 Wednesday morning.
Northeast RCMP say two pickup trucks were involved and the driver of each one died at the scene.
Three passengers in those vehicles were taken to hospital for treatment.
Police say the victims were a 31-year-old man from Pointe-Verte and a 47-year-old woman from Grande-Anse.
Slippery road conditions may have been a factor in the collision.
