Two Displaced In Bouctouche-Area Fire

Two people escaped injury after their home near Bouctouche caught on fire over the weekend.

According to the Canadian Red Cross, the blaze broke out in McKees Mills late Saturday afternoon.

The fire heavily damaged the kitchen and caused smoke and water damage elsewhere in the bungalow.

Red Cross volunteers provided a woman and her adult son with emergency lodging, food, clothing and other basic needs.
