Miramichi Police are trying to determine the cause of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 11 which killed both drivers.
Police say a 69-year-old Miscou Island man and a 46-year-old Cormier Village man died in the crash between Miramichi and Neguac.
A woman was taken to hospital with injuries and a dog was rescued and taken to a local vet for treatment.
The crash happened shortly before 10 o’clock this morning just east of Miramichi.
Highway 11 was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
At the time of the crash, police say the road was dry and the weather was clear.
