Two Arrests, Drugs Seized At Kent County Home

Mounties have arrested a man and a woman after officers searched a home in Kent County on Thursday (October 1).

With help from the police dog, RCMP searched a Gérard Street home in Saint-Antoine and seized drugs including methamphetamine pills, crystal meth, cocaine, opioids, hashish, cannabis and ecstasy along with two firearms – one was loaded – and hunting knives.

Joey LeBlanc, 34, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and he remains in custody.

Police say more charges are likely.

He will return to court on Tuesday (October 6).

A 27-year-old woman was released on conditions and is scheduled to make a court appearance on December 18.
