The Prime minister is asking Canadians to take some time to celebrate the women who are mothers to us.
Justin Trudeau took the time during Saturday’s address to the country to remind us of the significance of Mother’s Day.
“You might want to get up early to make her breakfast or ask dad for help get her her flowers. If you’re not together this year because of the virus, you can draw her a card or set up a video call,” Trudeau says.
He says it’s important to let mom know she has all of your love and support, not only during these challenging times, but all the time.
Trudeau says whatever way you choose to celebrate will surely make her day.
