The Prime Minister is in hot water again after being confronted by a flood volunteer.
Trudeau was in Ottawa to meet with emergency management officials.
While there, he offered help with sandbagging efforts in Constance Bay.
He and his son helped to fill sandbags and then took photos with some troops.
A man who identified as a volunteer voiced his frustrations with Trudeau, claiming his presence was just a “photo-op”.
He also blamed the prime minister’s security for long waits for people looking to obtain sandbags.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister’s executive assistant said the RCMP confirmed “no trucks had been blocked” during Trudeau’s visit.
FYI, RCMP confirmed to us on site that no trucks had been blocked. Trucks were pulling up one after the other to get sandbags while PM was there. I know because I helped put sandbags in some of those trucks. https://t.co/cVppL5cQXe
