Trudeau and Liberal cabinet meet in Halifax

The prime minister and his cabinet ministers are Halifax for meetings.

The three day retreat starts Sunday.

In a release, Justin Trudeau says it will focus on their work to strengthen the middle class and grow the economy.

Discussions are also planned on strengthening Canada’s relationship with the United States.

Meantime, Housing Minister Sean Fraser is will unveil details on a new pledge to lease more federal land to developers to build housing.

The meetings run until Tuesday.
