Tree removal from Moncton park

Crews are working to remove four maple trees and other dead wood from an area on Mountain Road.

Work began Monday at René-Arthur Fréchet Park.

The City of Moncton says the removal is due to public safety concerns.

It also allows for routine maintenance and for the installation of a fence along the property line.
