The Town of Riverview wants public input about how to make the town sustainable for generations to come.
Shane Thomson is the Director of Economic Development for Riverview, and he says they are in the consultation stage of creating an Integrated Community Sustainability Plan.
He says, “We’re making decisions now that will impact future generations, and we wanted to simplify it by breaking it down intro three different categories, people, planet, and profit.
Thomson says it’s a huge project that covers all the bases including the environment, the social health of the community, and the economic strength of Riverview.
They want residents help and input and are asking them to fill out a survey online at the Town website.
