The Toronto Raptors have become the first team outside of the United States to win the National Basketball Association championship title.
They defeated the Golden State Warriors 114-110 on the road in game six, lead by Kyle Lowry with 26 points. The Larry O`Brien Trophy will be making its way across the US border into Canada.

Kawhi Leonard was named the most valuable player.
There were Jurassic Park viewing areas set up in more than four dozen communities across the country last night, many people braving pouring rain to watch history be made.
That includes Moncton, where around 1700 fans came to the Avenir Centre for a viewing party.
