MONCTON, N.B. – The Progressive Conservatives have pledged more support to small and medium-sized businesses if elected next month.
PC leader David Alward is promising to pass a law forcing big companies to pay small businesses working on government projects in a timely fashion.
He has also pledged to reduce government red tape and partner with businesses to implement the New Brunswick drug plan his party introduced earlier this year.
Alward says his plan to boost small business won’t cost anything because it will build on regulations already in place.
He made the announcement while campaigning in Moncton this morning.
