Three Wheeled Bike Stolen From Woman Suffering From MS

The theft of a three wheeler from Trider Crescent in Riverview, is affecting the livelihood of a 74-year-old woman with MS.

Joan Johnson was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in July, and after a stay in hospital, her Neurologist said exercise would be very beneficial.

Her daughter bought the bike on Kijiji, but earlier this week, it was stolen during the night.

“It was the very top of the driveway, and I had it not even a week and we got up one morning and it was gone.”

Joan has had a difficult time getting around since she was diagnosed, and she hasn’t been able to drive since February.

The family has reported the stolen bike to RCMP, but they’re hoping whoever took it might have a change of heart or maybe someone with information might come forward.

Anyone with information should contact Codiac RCMP or call 859-9490.
