Three temporary stores have “popped up” in empty space at the Pinewood Plaza in Riverview.
Sequoia Downtown, Cafe Codiac and Ocean Trail Source For Adventure are set up in the plaza for the month of February.
Economic Development Director Shane Thomson says this is a unique way for retailers to “test the waters”.
“It’s an opportunity for a retailer or a brand, in an informal way, to “pop up” in a new or a unique location that they wouldn’t normally be expected to be found in,” he notes.
Thomson says the three businesses will typically be open in the late afternoon and evening and also on weekends throughout February.
