Three Arrests After Moncton Police Operation

Police say three people have been arrested after an early morning police operation.

A heavy police presence could be seen along Bonaccord Street in Moncton.

“There is no risk to public safety,” police said in a tweet shortly before 6:30 a.m. Friday.

Mounties are asking people to avoid the area for now so officers can do their work.

No other details have been released. Police say more information will be shared when they are able to.

More to come.
