Thousands of sledgehammers recalled

Thousands of sledgehammers have been recalled in Canada.

It’s for Dewalt and Stanley FATMAX fiberglass sledgehammers.

The head can loosen prematurely and detach unexpectedly during use.

As of March 15, 2023, the company has received 1 report of a sledgehammer head detaching in Canada, and no report of injuries.

Health Canada says to immediately stop using the product and to contact Stanley Black and Decker for a refund.
