Thousands Lineup For 2015 Women’s World Cup Matches In Moncton

Lineups of eager fans could be found outside of Moncton Stadium and at the free park and ride at the Moncton Coliseum.

They were all excited for the first matches of the 2015 Women’s World Cup to be played in Moncton.

The City was forced to call in additional buses because of the lineup at the Coliseum for those who were waiting to be shuttled over to watch the game.

Up to 2000 fans used the shuttle service.

13, 000 seats are available to watch the games at the Moncton Stadium, and it was estimated that over 80 per cent of those were filled for yesterday’s matches between France and England, and Mexico and Columbia.

The next matches will be played in Moncton on Saturday.

To avoid lineups, fans are advised to head over early.

France got the win over England 1-0 and Colombia and Mexico tied 1-1.
