UPDATE: There’s Still Time To Get A Flu Shot!

Influenza season is underway in New Brunswick.

The Government of New Brunswick has released updated influenza numbers and cases have risen.

Between August last year and February 15th. There have been 399 cases of the influenza A strain and 874 of Influenza B reported.

During the same time period, 124 people have been hospitalized.

Five people have died with ailments associated with the flu.

Officials say it is not too late to get a flu shot, but New Brunswick is one of three provinces where the cost of the shot is not covered for everyone.
