No one was hurt, but ten people were displaced after two weekend fires in different communities.
A family of seven, including a couple, their children, and grandchildren were displaced after a fire destroyed their house in the Esgenoopetitj First Nation in Burnt Church.
The band arranged food and lodging to take care of the family after the Friday night fire.
The next night in Dieppe, a woman and her two children were victim to an apartment fire on Acadie Avenue.
A release from the Red Cross indicated they aided with emergency housing and food.
The release indicated the woman should be able to return to her home in a few days.
