Temporary Bridge On Highway 133 To Open At End Of March

Starting at the end of the month, motorists will have access to a temporary bridge between Cap-Pele and Grand Barachois.

A single lane modular bridge is being installed on Highway 133.

There will also be traffic lights to help control the flow of traffic.

Spokesperson for the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Jeremy Trevors says it will open on March 31st, weather permitting.

The bridge on was closed last September after high winds and heavy rain during Hurricane Dorian.
