Teenager Killed In ATV Crash

The RCMP reports a 17-year old Edmundston girl was killed following an A-T-V crash in Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska. A 21-year-old Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska man also suffered serious injuries in the crash.

The RCMP are also investigating a possible hit and run that occurred in the early morning hours of Saturday on Route 102 near the Kingsclear First Nation.
Police received a report that a man was laying on the road badly injured.

He was transported to hospital with serious injuries. It is believed that the 28-year-old man from Kingsclear First Nation may have been struck by a vehicle.

Anyone with any information about this incident or who may have been travelling on Route 102 between 5 and 5:30 on the morning of August 29th is asked to call the Keswick RCMP at 506-357-4300.
