Even after rolling out its liquidation sale this week, Target appears to have missed the mark again.
At the Moncton store on Mountain Road, some shoppers weren’t impressed by markdowns of between 10 and 30 percent while others couldn’t understand why the American-based retail chain is closing.
A few shoppers say they did find some deals on electronics and cosmetics.
In what has been dubbed one of the worst marketing disasters in Canadian retail history, Target is shutting down all of its 133 stores across the country due to poor sales.
Inventory at all locations is expected to be sold by May.
