Several complaints about the fraudulent use of credit cards in Saint John, Grand Bay-Westfield, Oromocto and Sussex have resulted in the arrests of two people from from Alberta by Sussex RCMP.
39-year-old Troy Cloutier and 29-year-old Bailey Ann Brassard have been charged with fraud and obstructing a police officer. Cloutier also faces charges of possession of stolen property, possession of marijuana and fleeing from police.
An unnamed 42-year-old New Brunswick man was also arrested in connection with the investigation.
