An investigation into images of child sexual abuse has landed a man a three year prison sentence.
Seventy-year-old old Milton Wayne Taylor of Sussex Corner was sentenced yesterday to three years for making child pornography available, and two years for possession of child pornography.
He was arrested and charged in June of 2017 after police searched a home in Sussex Corner.
Several units were involved in the investigation including Saint John and Kennebecasis Regional Police, RCMP’s National Child Exploitation Crime Centre and Southeast RCMP.
Taylor will serve the two sentences concurrently.
His name has also been added to the National Sex Offender Registry, and he will be required to submit a DNA sample.
When he is released from prison, he will have to abide by several conditions, including not to be near children.
