A fire in a vacant boarded up home on Killam Drive is under investigation.
Moncton Fire Platoon Chief Dennis Dollemont says the call about smoke coming from a residence, came in at around 2:30am this morning.
Firefighters found flames on the second floor, that had also spread to the attic.
It’s believed someone got in through a basement window and that the fire was deliberately set.
It took them around 30 minutes to knock the fire down and they were on scene for about 90 minutes.
